AIRCRAFT WAS NOT GROUNDED: OVERHEAD EMERGENCY EXIT LIGHT AT ROW 23 IS INOPERATIVE. MAINTENANCE REMOVED EMERGENCY EXIT LIGHT, SWAPPED WIRING CONNECTIONS AND RE-INSTALLED EMERGENCY EXIT LIGHT PER AMM 33-51-11. A SATISFACTORY OPERATIONAL CHECK WAS ACCOMPLISHED.
