AIRCRAFT WAS NOT GROUNDED: DURING A SCHEDULED SLIDE RAFT ASSEMBLY REPLACEMENT FOR THE L1 DOOR, MAINTENANCE FOUND THE REPLACEMENT SLIDE RAFT ASSEMBLY TO BE BAD FROM STOCK. MAINTENANCE RE-INSTALLED THE ORIGINAL SLIDE RAFT ASSEMBLY AND ROUTED THE BAD FROM STOCK SLIDE RAFT ASSEMBLY TO BE SENT OUT FOR REPAIR.
