AIRCRAFT WAS NOT GROUNDED: RECEIVING SECTION OF GIRT ARM IS JAMMED IN DOWN POSITION AT THE MAIN ENTRY DOOR. MAINTENANCE CLEANED / LUBED THE GIRT BAR FLOOR LATCH PER AMM 25-62-00 AND ACCOMPLISHED A SATISFACTORY OPERATIONAL CHECK WITH NO ISSUES NOTED.
