AIRCRAFT WAS NOT GROUNDED: WINDOW SHADE ON EMERGENCY EXIT ROW SEAT 17A, INOP WILL NOT RETRACT OR EXTEND. EMERGENCY EXIT DOOR LINING REMOVED AND INSTALLED IAW AMM 25-21-20, SHADE REPLACED IAW AMM 25-21-12. OVERWING EXIT DOOR OPERATION AMM 52-22-00.
