AIRCRAFT DEPARTED GATE AND MAINTENANCE DISCOVERED THAT THE FAK HAD BEEN PLACED ON AIRCRAFT WITHOUT DOCUMENTATION. MAINTENANCE CONTACTED FLIGHT CREW AND HAD THEM RETURN TO GATE. MAINTENANCE GROUNDED AIRCRAFT UNTIL LOCATION AND WEIGHT OF FAK WAS VERIFIED. AIRCRAFT WAS RETURNED TO SERVICE.
