DISCOVERED A BINDING ELEVATOR DURING PREFLIGHT. FOUND ELEVATOR DOWN SPRING ROD ATTACH BOLT SHEARED. REPLACED BOLT AND CHECKED DOWN SPRING INSTALLATION IAW YS-11 MM CHAPTER 27-31-3, NO DEFECTS NOTED.
