FAINT BURNING ODOR WAS REPORTED BY CREW DURING FLIGHT AND ON GROUND. PROBLEM WAS DETERMINED TO BE MULTI-FUNCTION DISPLAY (MFD). REPLACED DISPLAY UNIT IAW DC8 MM 34-20, OPS CHECKED GOOD.
