DURING DECENT INTO PIT AT APPROX 14,000 FT. CREW HEARD CAPTIANS WINDSHIELD CRACK. LANDED IN PIT WITH NO FURTHER INCIDENT. MAINTENANCE THEN REMOVED AND REPLACED THE WINDSHIELD.
