DURING TRANSIT CHECK INTERCOMMUNICATION SYSTEM WAS DETECTED OUT SERVICE. MAINTENANCE TEST WAS PERFORMED IAW MM 23-40-00, ALL CORRECT. AIRCRAFT RETURNED TO PLATFORM AS A CONSEQUENCE OF INTERCOMMUNICATION SYSTEM FAIL. MAINTENANCE PROCEDURE TEST WAS PERFORMED IAW MM 23-40-00, TESTED CORRECT.
