THE CREW REPORTED A NR 2 ENGINE FIRE DETECT FAIL MESSAGE AFTER TAKEOFF. THE ACFT RETURNED TO ORD AND LANDED WITHOUT FURTHER INCIDENT. MAINTENANCE INSPECTED AND REPLACED THE NR 2 ENGINE FIRE DETECTOR. OPS CHECKED GOOD.
