DURING A ROUTINE CHECK, FOUND THAT SEVERAL EMERGENCY LIGHTS WERE INOPERATIVE. MAINTENANCE REMOVED AND REPLACED BATTERIES NUMBER 3 AND 4 IAW AMM 33-50-04. THE AIRCRAFT WAS APPROVED FOR RETURN TO SERVICE.
