IAH - DURING MAINTENANCE INSPECTION THE EMERGENCY SIGN AT SEAT 18D WAS FOUND TO BE INOPERATIVE. MAINTENANCE INSPECTED THE EMERGENCY LIGHT OPERATIONALLY TESTED WITH NO DEFECTS NOTED AND THE AIRCRAFT WAS APPROVED FOR RETURN TO SERVICE.
