IAH DURING MAINTENACE INSPECTION THE NUMBER FOUR EMERGENCY LIGHT BATTERY PACK WAS FOUND TO BE INOPERATIVE. MAINTENANCE REMOVED AND REPLACED THE AFFECTED BATTERY PACK AND THE AIRCRAFT WAS APPROVED FOR RETURN TO SERVICE.
