AFT ESCAPE SLIDE EMERGENCY LIGHT DOES NOT ILLUMINATE (FOUND B5-28 BATTERY PACK NICAD BATTERY BLEW UP). REMOVED AND REPLACED B5-28 BATTERY PACK AND NICAD BATTERY. OPS CHECK GOOD IAW DC-9 MM 33-53.
