AFTER TAKEOFF, NR 1 SLAT WOULD NOT RETRACT. SYSTEM "A" HYDRAULIC QUANTITY DECREASED TO 0.3 GALLONS. MAINTENANCE REMOVED AND REPLACED NR 1 L/E SLAT ACTUATOR, LEAK AND OPS CHECK GOOD.
