THE CREW REPORTED A STRONG ODOR OF FUEL IN CABIN WHEN THE APU WAS STARTED. MAINTENANCE INSPECTED AND PERFORMED OPERATIONAL CHECKS OF THE APU. NO DEFECTS WERE FOUND.THE AIRCRAFT WAS RELEASED FOR SERVICE.
