EWR - DURING ROUTINE MAINTENANCE, EWR MX FOUND BAGGAGE SMOKE DETECTOR NR 1 WOULD NOT TEST. MX REMOVED AND REPLACED RELAY K0629 AND PERFORMED OPERATIONAL CHECK SUCCESSFULLY. ACFT WAS APPROVED TO RETURN TO SERVICE.
