(CAN) DURING 600 HR TRANSMISSION INSPECTION INPUT QUILL WAS REMOVED TO FACILITATE MAINTENANCE. BEARING DEFECTS WERE IDENTIFIED THAT REQUIRED REPLACEMENT PRIOR TO AIRCRAFT WAS RETURNED TO SERVICE.
