REPLACEMENT ALTERNATOR HAD BEEN INSTALLED DUE TO SCHEDULED O/H, ON SUBSEQUENT FLIGHT AFTER DEPARTURE THE CREW RECEIVED A WINDSHIELD HEAT FAILURE CAWS MESSAGE, SUBSEQUENT INVESTIGATION REVEALED THE ALTERNATOR HAD FAILED.
