What was found
(CAN) DURING ACFT INSPECTION, THE STARTER GENERATOR WAS FOUND TO HAVE EXCESSIVE PLAY IN THE SHAFT DAMPER. STARTER GENERATOR REPLACED. SHAFT WAS REMOVED FROM STARTER GENERATOR AND SPLINES WERE FOUND TO BE SEVERELY WORN.
