(CAN) THE ACCIDENT WAS REPORTED BY THE NTSB AND SPECIFIED THAT THE ENGINE SUSTAINED A POWER SURGE THEN A LOSS OF THRUST ON APPROACH. THE AIRPLANE LANDED IN TREES AND THE PILOT WAS NOT INJURED.
