(CAN) DURING INSPECTION THE ELEVATOR UP CONTROL CABLE PART NUMBER 0400107-5 WAS FOUND TO HAVE BROKEN STRANDS AFT OF THE PULLEY AT FUSELAGE STATION 174. CABLE WAS REPLACED.
