(CAN) LH BATTERY TEMPERATURE INDICATED INTO THE RED (HOT) IN FLIGHT. AIRCRAFT RETURNED TO BASE AND BROKEN WIRE WAS FOUND ON THE CANNON PLUG ON THE LH BATTERY. WIRE WAS REPAIRED AND AIRCRAFT RETURNED TO SERVICE.
