SMOKE DETECTOR, FWD LAV ERRONEOSLY WENT OFF IAW HMC, INBOUND CREW STATES LAV WAS UNOCCUPIED AND NO SMOKING ODORS WERE PRESENT. PERFORMED SMOKE TEST AND SELF TEST OF FW LAV SMOKE DETECTOR IAW AMM 26-14-00/501. FWD LAV SMOKE DETECTOR OPS GOOD.
