REPEAT GRIPE OF IR-1 AFTER TAKEOFF. DEBRIEFED PILOT, AFTER TAKEOFF, IR-1 FAULTED. CAPT FOLLOWED QRH AND SWITCHED TO CAPT 3 FOR THE IR BACKUP BUT NO HELP. CAPTAIN`S HAD RED X EVEN AFTER SWITCHING TO CAPT 3. REPLACED NR 1 ADIRU IAW AMM 34-12-34. OPS CHKD GOOD.
