FLT 8284 ENROUTE AFW-LBB/AIR TURNBACK DISCREPANCY: AFTER TAKEOFF, THE #1 DC GEN FAULTED. AIRCRAFT WAS RETURNED TO AFW. NO EMERGENCY WAS DECLARED. LANDED WITHOUT FURTHER INCIDENT. CORRECTIVE ACTION: MAINTENANCE REPLACED THE HALL EFFECT SENSOR.
