DURING LINE CHECK, MAINTENANCE FOUND THE SLIDE LANYARD FOR THE 1R DOOR EMERGENCY ESCAPE SLIDE TO BE FRAYED. MAINTENANCE REPLACED THE LANYARD AND RETURNED THE AIRCRAFT TO SERVICE.
