FIRE/ATB - APU IN OPERATION DURING FLIGHT DUE TO ATA 24 MEL APPLIED FOR EPC 3 DEGRADED FAULT. DURING CLIMB, SHUDDER FELT IN BACK OF A/C WITH APU FAULT FOLLOWED BY FIRE INDICATION. APU FIRE HANDLE PULLED, BOTTLE DISCHARGED. RETURNED TO MCI. CORRECTIVE ACTION: APU, APU INLET DOOR AND APU TAIL CONE REPLACED. (LP# 6382505)
