AIR TURNBACK, DUE TO REPORT OF A SMOKE/ODOR IN THE AFT. GALLEY. STOPPED WHEN COFFEEMAKERS WERE SHUT DOWN. FOUND COFFEEMAKER AT POSITION 509 OVERFILLED AND SPILLING ON HOT PLATE. REPLACED COFFEEMAKER. (LP: 9088798, AIRCRAFT WAS GROUNDED)
