SHORT FINAL WITH GEAR DEPLOYMENT L/G LGCIU 1 FAULT ECAM. COMPLETED ECAM PROCEDURE WITH GO AROUND. GEAR CYCLED UP AND DOWN ON SUBSEQUENT APPROACH. SAME FAULT REOCCURRED. T/S IAW TSM 32-31-00-810-820-A. LGCIU 1, FAULTS PROXIMITY SENSOR 27GA. R & R THE SENSOR IAW AMM 32-31. C/W NO GO MSI STEPS. (LP: 9326543, AIRCRAFT WAS GROUNDED)
