FDM 6003 JFK (0920 PHX LCL). CREW RETURNED TO THE FIELD DUE TO A STRONG SMOKE ODOR COMING FROM ROOF OF GALLEY. MX FOUND INSULATION AGAINST LIGHT ASSY IN GALLEY, REPOSITIONED INSULATION. NO FURTHER SMOKE SMELL FOUND.
