PILOT REPORTED PLASTIC BURNING SMELL IN CABIN SMELLS FROM LEFT C/B PANEL. MAINTENANCE INSPECTED AND FOUND THE STROBE LIGHT SWITCH INOP. THE SWITCH WAS REPLACED WITH NO FURTHER DEFECTS NOTED.
