ON A PREFLIGHT INSPECTION, THE CREW NOTED THAT THE NR1 AFT CABIN EMERGENCY LIGHT WAS OPERATIVE. THIS ITEM WAS DEFERRED PER MEL. ON 8/20, MAINTENANCE REMOVED AND REPLACED THE EMERGENCY LIGHT.
