NR 1 GENERATOR FAILED IN FLIGHT. ELECTRICAL SMOKE IN COCKPIT PRECEDED GENERATOR FAILURE. NO RESET WAS ATTEMPTED. THERE WAS NO EVIDENCE OF FIRE OR HEAT DAMAGE. THE PROBLEM WAS TRACED TO A GENERATOR CONTACTOR.
