DURING PREFLIGHT INSPECTION RUDDER TRIM DIFFICULT TO ROTATE & SKIPS UNITS MAKING POSITION INDICATION INACCURATE. MX DISASSEMBLED RUDDER TRIM TAB KNOB & POINTER ASSEMBLY, CLEANED, LUBED & RE-INDEXED TRIM INDICATOR ASSEMBLY. NO DEFECTS NOTICED. ACFT WAS RETURNED TO SERVICE.
