LAX- FLIGHT 2472. RUDDER TRIM RUNAWAY TO THE RIGHT. CREW WAS APPLYING TRIM TO THE LEFT. RETURNED TO THE FIELD AND ACCOMPLISHED A UNEVENTFUL LANDING. MAINTENANCE REPLACED THE AILERON/RUDDER TRIM CONTROL PANEL. OPERATIONAL CHECKS GOOD. AIRCRAFT RETURNED TO SERVICE.
