WHILE A/C WAS IN FOR HEAVY MAINTENANCE. FOUND NLG BAY NOSE GEAR STEERING ACTUATOR MOUNTING BRACKET CRACKED. REPLACED IAW SRM 51-43-03. AIRCRAFT STILL OUT OF SERVICE FOR HEAVY CHECK COMPLETION.
