FLT 5530 - STL - CREW REPORTED RECEIVING A SPS ADVANCED AND FLAP FAIL MESSAGE ON THE EICAS DURING CLIMBOUT. FLAP INDICATION SHOWED AMBER DASHES. MAINTENANCE RESET THE FLAP SYSTEM AND PERFORMED AN OPERATIONAL CHECK OF THE SYSTEM WITH NO DEFECTS NOTED.
