DURING A MAINTENANCE VISIT, FOUND CORROSION DAMAGE TO FUSELAGE SKIN AT STA 487 TO STA 490 AND LONGERON 29 RIGHT. REMOVED DAMAGED SECTION, TREATED AREA IAW DC-8 SRM 51-1-8. FABRICATED AND INSTALLED REPAIR DOUBLER IAW FAA APPROVED DER COTNEY ENGINEERING SKETCH E54-R01.
