DURING A MAINTENANCE VISIT, FOUND HORIZONTAL STABILIZER LEADING EDGE RIGHT SIDE WITH EXFOLIATION CORROSION BEYOND DC-8 SRM LIMITS, AT STA XFS 178 TO STA XFS 200. REMOVED DAMAGED SECTION, TREATED AREA IAW DC-8 SRM 51-1-8. FABRICATED AND INSTALLED REPAIR DOUBLER IAW DC-8 SRM 55-2-1, PAGE 17.
