What was found
ON FLIGHT 4016 THE CREW REPORTED THEY RECEIVED A FLAP FAIL CAUTION MESSAGE AT CRUISE AT ALTITUDE 230. THE CREW DECLARED AN EMERGENCY AND LANDED WITHOUT INCIDENT. THE AIRCRAFT WAS REMOVED FROM SERVICE. REMOVED AND REPLACED THE FLAP POWER DRIVE UNIT IAW EMB-140MM 27-53-04 -ACCOMPLISHED FLAP ZERO-DEGREE RIGGING IAW EMB-140MM 27-53-04-700-801-A. THE OPERATIONAL CHECK WAS GOOD. THE AIRCRAFT WAS RETURNED TO SERVICE.
