DURING PREFLIGHT THE FLIGHT ATTENDANT REPORTED THE EMERGENCY LIGHTS WOULD NOT STAY ON. MAINTENANCE REMOVED AND REPLACED BATTERY PACKS IAW MM. OPERATIONAL CHECK WAS GOOD AND AIRCRAFT WAS RETURNED TO SERVICE.
