ORD - FLT 5731 - ON TAKEOFF THERE WAS A LOUD NOISE COMING FROM LEFT SIDE OF COCKPIT ALONG WITH AURAL WARNING. MAINTENANCE REMOVED AND REPLACED THE TONE GENERATOR FOR THE GPWS. SYSTEMS OPS CHECKED GOOD. (M)
