LIFE RAFT HAD A PARACHUTE CORD TIED AROUND THE INFLATABLE PORTION OF THE LIFE RAFT, WHICH WOULD HAVE CAUSED THE LIFE RAFT TO STRANGLE AND THE LIFE RAFT WOULD HAVE FAILED TO DEPLOY.
