AVIONICS SMOKE LIGHT ILLUMINATED IN FLIGHT, NO SMOKE WAS NOTED BY THE CREW. SMOKE DETECTOR WAS DEFERRED IAW THE MEL 26-3. THE MEL WAS CLEARED BY CLEANING THE SMOKE DETECTOR.
