2. Loading or dispensing of flares is not FAA approved for civil operations. The FAA certification does not connote FAA endorsement of the deployment of anti-missile pyrotechnic devices (flares) or the effectiveness of the equipment in countering a missile threat.

3. Laser operation is not FAA approved for civil operations. The laser is electrically disabled.

4. If the holder agrees to permit another person to use this certificate to alter a product, the holder must give the other person written evidence of that permission.

5. ELOS Findings have been made for the following regulation of 14 CFR part 23:
