2. The following placard must be installed in clear view of the pilot:

"Flight not to be predicated on use of Carburetor Ice Detector"

3. Inspect Ice Detector photo sensor fitting in carburetor for security during annual inspection or every 100 hours of air time whichever occurs first.

4. Inspect Ice Detector photo sensor for condition following occurrence of engine backfire.

5. The installer must determine whether this design change is compatible with previously approved modifications.

6. If the holder agrees to permit another person to use this certificate to alter a product, the holder must give the other person written evidence of that permission.
