1. Installation of Elevator Replacement Trailing Edge must be in accordance with Rocky Mountain Aircraft (RMA) Modification Instruction E133210, Revision - , Transport Canada Civil Aviation (TCCA) approved June 8, 2023, or later TCCA approved revision.
2. Definition of Type Design Change is found in Rocky Mountain Aircraft (RMA) Engineering Data Summary E133200, Revision - , TCCA approved June 8, 2023, or later TCCA approved revision.
1. If the holder agrees to permit another person to use this certificate to alter a product, the holder must give the other person written evidence of that permission.

2. The installer must determine whether this design change is compatible with previously approved modifications.
3. This STC is applicable to all serial numbers for these Make-Models-Series.
Certification Basis:
Based on title 14 Code of Federal Regulations (CFR) 21.115 and 21.101, and the FAA policy for design changes that are identified as not significant in FAA Order 8110.48, the type certification basis for the modified Viking Air Limited DHC-6-400 is as follows:
a. The type certification basis for the Viking Air Limited DHC-6-400 as shown on Type Certificate Data Sheet (TCDS) A9EA for parts not changed or not affected by the change.
b. The type certification basis for the Viking Air Limited DHC-6-400 for parts changed or affected by the change is TCDS A9EA with the following exceptions:
14 CFR Part 23 at Amendment 23-0 through 23-6 plus 23.629 at Amendment 23-7 and SFAR 23-1 Paragraph 29.
