(1) The installer must determine whether this design change is compatible with previously approved modifications.

(2) If the holder agrees to permit another person to use this certificate to alter a product, the holder must give the other person written evidence of that permission.

3. Loading or dispensing of flares is not FAA approved for civil operations. The FAA certification does not connote FAA endorsement of the deployment of anti-missile pyrotechnic devices (flares) or the effectiveness of the equipment in countering a missile threat.

4. Laser operation is not FAA approved for civil operations. The laser is electrically disabled.

5. Installation of STC SA10688SC-D is a prerequisite for this STC.

6. The FAA has not certified the military radios and certain ISR equipment for which the provisions are intended. You must get additional FAA approval to install this equipment. The FAA must evaluate the installation to ensure it complies with the applicable airworthiness standards.

7. Refer to L-3 Communications STC Configuration Management Document, G10689.28.51 Revision NC dated 01 April 2020, or later FAA/ODA approved revision, to determine the FAA-approved configurations for this STC.

8. ELOS Findings have been made for the following regulation of 14 CFR part 23:

Section 23.815(b), amendment 23-46, Width of aisle, as documented in ELOS Memo ACE-13-18.

Certification Basis:

Based on 14 CFR §§ 21.115 and 21.101, and the FAA policy for significant changes in FAA Order 8110.48, the certification basis for the Textron Aviation Inc. B300 aircraft is as follows:

a. The type certification basis for Textron Aviation Inc. B300 series airplanes is shown on TCDS A24CE for parts not changed or not affected by the change.

b. The certification basis for parts changed or affected by the change since the reference date of application, 20 January 2012, is as follows:
