1. Installation of the Cabin Audio System Upgrade must be in accordance with Avio Design Group Inc.

(Avio dg) Modification Instruction 2355-MI-001, Revision --, dated August 18, 2023, Transport Canada Civil Aviation (TCCA) approved October 2, 2023, or later TCCA approved revision.

2. Maintenance must be in accordance with Avio dg Instructions for Continued Airworthiness 2355-CA-001, Revision --, dated August 18, 2023, or later TCCA accepted revision.

1. If the holder agrees to permit another person to use this certificate to alter a product, the holder must give the other person written evidence of that permission.

2. The installer must determine whether this design change is compatible with previously approved modifications.

3. This STC is applicable to all serial numbers for this Make-Model.

Certification Basis:

Based on title 14 Code of Federal Regulations (CFR) 21.115 and 21.101, and the FAA policy for design changes that are identified as not significant in FAA Order 8110.48, the type certification basis for the modified Viking Air Limited DHC-6-400 is as follows:

a. The type certification basis for the Viking Air Limited DHC-6-400 as shown on Type Certificate Data Sheet (TCDS) A9EA for parts not changed or not affected by the change.

b. The type certification basis for the Viking Air Limited DHC-6-400 for parts changed or affected by the change is TCDS A9EA with the following exceptions:

14 CFR 23.29, 23.301, 23.303, 23.305, 23.307, 23.337, 23.601, 23.603, 23.605, 23.609,

23.613 at Amendment 23-1 through Amendment 23-6.
